Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox is a Scottish native singer. She was born on 25 December 1954 in Aberdeen. Dorothy Farquharson, and Thomas Allison Lennox were her parents. Lennox won a scholarship award to attend London's Royal Academy of Music for 3 years. Lennox's budget was increased by a stipend for students as well as part-time employment. Lennox was not content with her abilities compared to the other students at Royal Academy and began looking for alternative paths. Lennox was a flute player in a band named Dragons Playground in 1976. She left the band when the band was featured on I.T.V.s talent show New Faces. Her main role was as the singer of The Tourists from 1977 until in 1980. The band was where she got to know Dave Stewart and together they formed The duo Eurythmics. Lennox collaborated on her solo first album Diva. It came out in 1993. Commercially and critically it was a huge success. Nostalgia Lennoxs sixth solo album was launched in October 2014. The C.D. Lennox has chosen her favorite blues, soul and jazz tracks. Lepidoptera is a collection of four piano improvisations was published by Lennox in May of 2019. The E.P.
